Work

I am Sara Montaner and my work and passion is creating pieces that move between graphic creation, design and literature. I was born and grew up in Barcelona. I love to use Andalusian folklore from my roots as a source of inspiration, together with nature and literary pieces from different cultures. The book as an object is what I consider among the best forms of expression. I like to create hybrids that combine bookbinding, stitched drawing, photography, printing, serigraphy, design, prose, and poetry; hiding a powerful story behind.
